چکیده

AIM: The aim of this in vitro study is to determine the push-out bond strength bundle glass fiber post (Rebilda GT) and tapered post). MATERIALS AND METHODS: Twenty freshly extracted human single rooted premolar teeth were used, all endodontically treated, after 24 h from obturation gutta-percha removed leaving 5 mm apically ensure clinically acceptable apical seal. Finally, canals flushed with 2 ml NaOcl 5.25% distilled water, respectively, then dried using paper points. roots divided randomly into two sets ten for each group according post-type. Group A: Rebilda posts used. B: GT inserted manufacturer instructions. All specimens stored 72 an incubator. Slices thickness cut at different levels (cervical, middle, thirds), was determined universal testing machine a speed 0.5 mm/min. RESULTS: One-way analysis variance Tukey HSD tests showed that (bundle fiber) had higher than regions. (p < 0.05), also cervical area both groups middle areas, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: taper regions (apical, cervical). region thirds.

push-out bond strength of a fiber post system with two resin cements

introduction: debonding is a common cause of failure encountered with fiber-reinforced composite (frc) posts, and usually occurs along the post space-dentin adhesive interface. the aim of this in vitro study is to evaluate the regional push-out bond strength of a fiber-reinforced post system, using two resin cements. materials and methods: in this in vitro study 20 maxillary central incisors we...

Effects of post surface conditioning before silanization on bond strength between fiber post and resin cement

PURPOSE Post surface conditioning is necessary to expose the glass fibers to enable bonding between fiber post and resin cement. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the effect of different surface conditioning on tensile bond strength (TBS) of a glass fiber reinforced post to resin cement. MATERIALS AND METHODS In this in vitro study, 40 extracted single canal central incisors we...

comparison of endodontic medicaments on bond strength of fiber post to root dentin using resin cement

statement of the problem: endodontic irrigants and medicaments may affect the bond strength of intracanal posts to root dentin. purpose: the aim of this study was to compare the effect of calcium hydroxide (ca(oh) 2 ) and 2% chlorhexidine gel (chx) on bond strength of fiber post cemented with resin cement to root dentin. materials and method: this in vitro experimental study was conducted on 36...

Effect of silane activation on shear bond strength of fiber-reinforced composite post to resin cement

PURPOSE Among the surface treatment methods suggested to enhance the adhesion of resin cement to fiber-reinforced composite posts, conflicting results have been obtained with silanization. In this study, the effects of silanization, heat activation after silanization, on the bond strength between fiber-reinforced composite post and resin cement were determined. MATERIALS AND METHODS Six group...

Flexural properties, morphology and bond strength of fiber-reinforced posts: influence of post pretreatment.

The aim of this study was to assess the influence of surface pretreatments of fiber-reinforced posts on flexural strength (FS), modulus of elasticity (ME) and morphology of these posts, as well as the bond strength (BS) between posts and core material. Fifty-two fiber posts (smooth and serrated) were assigned to 4 groups (n=13): no treatment (control), 10% hydrogen peroxide (HP) for 10 min (HP-...
